Founded in 1989, Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is a company of professionals that embrace three core principles: Senior Leadership, Integrated Services, and Personal Business Relationships. CEC works in the primary practice areas of environmental services, civil & site development engineering, ecological sciences and solid waste management. These technical consulting and engineering services are delivered to private industry, real estate developers, architects, waste management, legal and public sector clients. CEC treats every project as a unique deliverable and as such develops project teams that are lead by senior-level personnel with an average over 15 years of experience in their relevant field of practice.
A certified professional project management company, Sustainable Group Inc. specializes in civil site construction and environmental remediation. Sustainable Group also provides innovative sustainable site solutions for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects, as well as expert facilities management consulting services. In addition, key personnel within Sustainable Group have a great deal of experience in large civil works projects to include the repair of active sewer drain infrastructure systems through slip lining methods. Specifically, Sustainable Group Principal, Roger Wykle, PE lead the slip line repair of extensive active sewer line piping at the largest U.S. Coast Guard Base within the Hawaiian Islands. This project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget with no impacts to the operational CG assets located at this facility. In addition, Mr. Wykle holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois with a concentration on concrete technologies to include high strength, early yield concrete mixes that are used in modern concrete slip lining technologies.
