EMS provides a variety of reporting tools. Adhoc Reports and Crystal Reports are both integrated into the system, and provide users with a way to easily customize reports to match their particular business model.
EMS can also generate regulatory reports such as Tier II and the Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP), and provides integrated support for the electronic submission of the CERS report. If you’ve ever had to generate one of these reports on your own, you know that that’s a big deal!
One thing that EMS cannot do is to guarantee the quality of the inventory data. The report that is generated by EMS is only as accurate as the data underlying it. This is a big job, requiring coordinated efforts year round by various knowledgeable personnel throughout the physical plant.
