What is an SDS?<\/strong><\/strong>

A safety data sheet (SDS), or formerly referred to as material safety data sheet (MSDS), or product safety data sheet is a document that lists information relating to occupational safety and health for the use of various substances and products.<\/p> <\/div>

What does an SDS include?<\/strong><\/strong>

According to OSHA, the SDS includes information such as the properties of each chemical; the physical, health, and environmental health hazards; protective measures; and safety precautions for handling, storing, and transporting the chemical<\/strong>.<\/p> <\/div>

What is COMAH notifications reporting?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>

COMAH notifications reporting is a system used by states to collect and publish information about the hazardous chemicals stored and used by businesses and institutions in their area. The COMAH notifications reporting system is part of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), which was passed by the US Congress in 1986. It is not a general hazardous chemical inventory reporting system for public disclosure. Operators of establishments subject to COMAH must notify the Competent Authority and, where applicable, comply with further major-accident prevention, emergency planning, and safety report duties. The purpose is to help ensure that major accident hazards are identified and controlled, and that emergency planning arrangements are in place.
