Are you ready for the March 1, 2023 Tier II report submission deadline?
The Tier II report is required under Section 312 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986, also known as EPCRA. The report is designed to provide state and local officials, as well as the general public, with information about the locations and amounts of hazardous materials within a facility.
Organizations that store hazardous chemicals that exceed EPA established thresholds are required to submit the report; however, the reporting threshold can vary depending on the chemical.
Chemical Safety’s environmental compliance software has the Tier II as well as several other common environmental regulatory reports built-in. The reports are always current and electronic submission options are preconfigured. The Tier II report is also fully integrated with the rest of our environmental health and safety software suite. For example, each inventory container is linked to a manufacturer-specific safety data sheet and its corresponding hazard data, so the software knows what’s reportable and what the thresholds are. The software does all of the heavy lifting for you!

What our clients say
Chief Operating Officer
Snapdragon Chemistry, Inc.
The Chemical Safety team is the most responsive organization that I’ve dealt with in my career. Whether it was helping better understand our chemical data to creating customized reports for our constituents, the Chemical Safety team is always available to assist. We looked at a lot of systems prior to selecting Chemical Safety. While many companies were selling “futures”, Chemical Safety’s offering did exactly what we were promised from day one.
John Carroll University
I can recommend the EMS product for inventory management and GHS compliance without qualification or hesitation.
Professionalism of all Chemical Safety staff and the follow and the staff’s support in addressing all problems to resolution. This is a much-needed solution to consolidating data from several Excel files into a database that can be searched and reports can be consolidated for review by regulatory agencies.

The Chemical Safety EMS RTS allows for substantial customization of the system, and the team was extremely helpful in implementing our requests. The system is easy to use both from an administrator and end user viewpoint, with a intuitive interface and dashboard.
Very user friendly, especially with employee language barriers, they ca be trained to type in the chemical name and produce the SDS needed.
User friendly, customer support from day 1. John was very helpful getting our excel inventory into the software. Label printing feature and iPad/scanner feature makes it very professional.
