On March 3rd, 2020 the EPA released a list of SARS-CoV-2 disinfectant products for use against the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Coronaviruses are enveloped viruses, meaning they are one of the easiest types of viruses to kill with the appropriate disinfectant product.
According to EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler, “Using the correct disinfectant is an important part of preventing and reducing the spread of illnesses along with other critical aspects such as hand washing.” It is our responsibility to do everything we can to prevent further spread of illness for us and those around us.
